While I Was At The Park

While I was at the park on Sunday, I was sitting on the bench, watching the water. I saw an occasional leaf fall into the water. As I sat back, I put my hand though the back of the bench. All I could think of when something touched my hand, was a praying mantis. I yelped. Then I laughed.

Then I looked at the lady on the next bench, who had to be worried about me by now. After I left, I stopped at the gas station to get gas. The first pump was out of order. So I went to a pump... that I never use and was going a different direction then usual. After I got out, and the gas was pumping... I looked around and saw, a praying mantis. Almost 6 inches long and probably the biggest I have ever seen. As I walked past and spoke to it, the head swiveled back and forth as it watched me. What a surprise and blessing.

Be open to surprises and interesting blessings today!

While I was at the park yesterday, I took a photo of these buds. They obviously haven't bloomed yet. When they do, they will be small and smell really sweet. Until then, we/you/I have to give them time to develop and blossom.

That's the same with us. We need time. And, sometimes we don't want to wait. Be patient with yourself. Be kind and gentile. While you are waiting, allow what is to JUST BE. Whatever is happening right now... is good enough. Allow things to unfold and you will be rewarded when things, like these buds, blossom. Trust me, you are worth it!

Aloha and namaste...
